Manchester Academic Charter Middle School has transitioned into a project-based learning environment focused on Social Justice, Entrepreneurship, Engineering and Sustainability.
This dynamic learning environment is led by our diverse team of experienced and innovative educators, parents, and community partners. Each of them are dedicated to providing our students a high quality academic education with a wide variety of arts, healthy living and growth development opportunities.
Who We are
Our school community and learning environment is established and maintained collectively by our students through Youth Court, Student Government and a variety of student ad-hoc committees, along with our staff and parents via Class Dojo. We use Class Dojo as our primary communication with students and parents for daily progress, assignments, information, awards and upcoming events. Students and parents are also provided access to PowerSchool to regularly monitor their grades.
Since 1998 we’ve established a reputation for high academic and behavioral expectations for our students at MACS in order to prepare them for high school and beyond. Nationally recognized and Middle States Accredited, we are proud to say that over 99% of the young men and women that attended MACS graduated high school and of those graduates over 80% continue on to college or trade school (tracking data of former MACS graduates over the past 4 years). Of course we can’t take all the credit… but our past student and families continually express their appreciation for MACS role in establishing a foundation for success.
